Drying Out
I’m not really sure how I got here, but I did.
I got sober. Then I picked up a pencil.Â

46 years old, and still drying out from a bittersweet breakup with my love of alcohol.Â
I’ve added outlets to my new sober life, but nothing more beautiful than rediscovering art.

Art has taught me patience and humility, and allowed me to see the world through color, shapes and values—with sober eyes.
Now, I’m documenting my journey through sobriety, creativity, and the process of becoming an artist.
